Applicants must apply to the University of Florida via the Office of Admissions application web page AND to PTCAS. PTCAS typically begins accepting applications in July. Applications submitted early in the fall semester are encouraged. Applicants taking summer classes are asked to finalize their PTCAS applications after the summer semester is complete to ensure those grades are included in the review process.
The following items MUST arrive at PTCAS by November 1st. All necessary forms can be found at the PTCAS website.
- All transcripts
- Letters of recommendation
- Completed PTCAS application
- TOEFL & Foreign Transcript Evaluation (if required)
- Observation hours MUST be completed AND verified by a physical therapist
- GRE Scores
The University of Florida online application MUST also be completed by November 1st with the application fee paid. Transcripts and letters of recommendation do not need to be sent to UF.
Admission decisions are based on many factors, including overall academic record, letters of recommendation, personal statement, observation experiences, and achievement testing performance, among others. Although interviews are not required, they may be requested.
Decisions are emailed to applicants on a rolling basis between the months of January and March. Offers of admission cannot be deferred for future years. All applicants can expect a decision by email.
