Once medical stabilization is achieved following neurologic injury, the primary focus of physical rehabilitation is on addressing impairments and functional limitations that we can “see.” How can we ensure we are addressing the less visible impairments of cardiovascular and respiratory health? Our clients are with us for formal rehabilitation an increasingly shortened time. What happens when clients are discharged from our care? How can we prepare our patients for a lifetime of healthy living, even in the presence of disability? This webinar will address these questions and provide attendees with strategies to prepare our clients to engage in an independent healthy lifestyle.
