“Being awarded the Evans Family Scholarship is a privilege that allows me to advance toward becoming a physical therapist. It signifies that my efforts during my educational path have been acknowledged, which inspires me to keep putting forth effort and improving every day.
I’m excited to have the opportunity to make a difference in my patients’ lives as a physical therapist in the future. I’m very eager to be a part of the rehabilitation process and help improve patients’ physical and mental well-being. I’m also looking forward to mentoring future physical therapists with the skills I’m learning in the UF DPT program.
