On Tuesday, August 17 at 7pm EST, Joel Bialosky, PT, PhD, FAAOMPT, OCS, clinical associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, and clinical research scientist within the Brooks/UF-PHHP Collaboration with a musculoskeletal concentration will present “Thinking Outside the Black Box: Why Rehabilitation Interventions Work for Pain and Why You Should Care.”
Musculoskeletal pain is a significant public health problem with associated high prevalence. Rehabilitation interventions are effective for some patients; however, the mechanisms through which these interventions work are largely unknown. In this webinar, Dr. Bialosky will explore a line of research considering why rehabilitation interventions for musculoskeletal pain may work within the framework of a theoretical model.
