Dr. Joel Bialosky, PT, PhD, FAAOMPT, OCSOn Tuesday, August 17 at 7pm EST, Joel Bialosky, PT, PhD, FAAOMPT, OCS, clinical associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, and clinical research scientist within the Brooks/UF-PHHP Collaboration with a musculoskeletal concentration will present “Thinking Outside the Black Box: Why Rehabilitation Interventions Work for Pain and Why You Should Care.”

Musculoskeletal pain is a significant public health problem with associated high prevalence. Rehabilitation interventions are effective for some patients; however, the mechanisms through which these interventions work are largely unknown. In this webinar, Dr. Bialosky will explore a line of research considering why rehabilitation interventions for musculoskeletal pain may work within the framework of a theoretical model.
