PT faculty receive Deans Citation, Scholarship of Teaching Publication awards

At the State of the College Meeting on Sept. 18, faculty members were recognized by Dean Michael Perri with a Dean’s Citation Paper Award, acknowledging their innovation and excellence in research, and the Scholarship of Teaching Publication Award, which is given to faculty members to acknowledge their innovation in teaching. Each department selected one faculty member to receive this award.

Kim Dunleavy, PhD, PT, OCS, FNAP, clinical professor, received the Scholarship of Teaching Publication Award for her article published in the Journal of Physical Therapy Education entitled, “Impact on Clinical Performance of Required Participation in a Student-Run Pro Bono Clinic.”

Andrew Judge, PhD, professor, received the Dean’s Citation Paper Award for his article published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute Cancer Spectrum entitled, “Skeletal Muscle Fibrosis in Pancreatic Cancer Patients with Respect to Survival.”
