Jason Beneciuk, PT, DPT, PhD, MPH, research assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, research-scientist at Brooks Rehabilitation, and the director of the Brooks/UF-PHHP Research Collaboration, was recently featured in a Washington Post article discussing the effect of missed physical therapy treatments due to COVID-19 disruptions.
In the article, Dr. Beneciuk discusses musculoskeletal pain and how physical therapy should be a front line approach to treating that pain, but many patients are missing or have missed these treatments due to the pandemic.
