Rose receives APTA 2020 Lucy Blair Award

Dorian Rose, PT, PhD, research associate professor, is the recipient of the 2020 American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Lucy Blair Service Award. This award is given to physical therapists whose contributions to the APTA are of exceptional quality. Congratulations Dr. Rose!

Dr. Rose, who serves as a rehabilitation scientist within the formal collaboration between Brooks Rehabilitation and UF PHHP (Brooks/UF-PHHP Research Collaboration) and a research health scientist in the Brain Rehabilitation and Research Center in the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System, displays the true meaning behind the Lucy Blair Award.

This award is given to physical therapists whose contributions to the APTA are of exceptional quality, and Dr. Rose has shown her dedication to the profession through her many APTA committee memberships, including chairing the APTA Neurology Section StrokEdge Task Force.
