Schack-Dugre presents at World Confederation for Physical Therapists

From May 10-13, Judi Schack-Dugre, PT, DPT, MBA, EdD, presented at the World Confederation for Physical Therapy Congress in Geneva, Switzerland.

As a part of an interprofessional team of educational researchers, she and her two colleagues mentioned below submitted three accepted abstracts.

Dr. Schack-Dugre speaking at the podium1) “Forging a path to globalize healthcare education: A comparison of hybrid and traditional online deliveries” of interprofessional education was presented by Dr. Schack-Dugre in the State of the Art education platform. This designation is provided to those projects deemed to most likely change practice.

2) “Is online competency-based education effective in the delivery of interprofessional education?” was presented in the Rapid Five platform by Karen Snyder, PhD, OTR/L.

3) “Contemporizing healthcare education: Changing knowledge and attitudes through online interprofessional curricula” was presented in poster format by Jordan Utley, PhD, LAT, ATC.

 

The interprofessional team represented the University of Florida and the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
