In mid-October, three of our DPT students attended the APTA National Student Conclave in Providence, Rhode Island. There, Kyle Walker, Maria Hierholzer, and Hannah Belles (pictured above) were able to attend breakout sessions and network with other PT students, PT and PTA professionals, and APTA leaders.
The department is especially proud of Maria for running for the Vice President of the APTA National Student Assembly. We applaud her for her hard work and dedication to the PT profession. We hope she inspires more DPT students to get involved in professional organizations. Keep up the great work Maria!
