Dr. Mark Bishop testified before the Florida Senate Committee on Health Policy as part of a panel on the opioid crisis. His position was to advocate on the efficacy of physical therapy as an alternative treatment for pain. As the only non-pharmacological provider to speak on this panel the hope is for new ways in thinking about current methods of treating chronic pain.
