Research Assistant Professor Meryl Alappattu, DPT, PhD, Associate Professor Mark Bishop, PT, PhD, and PhD in Rehabilitation Science Program alumni Dr. Chaz Gay and Dr. Fredy Solis recently presented their innovative pain research at the 16th World Congress on Pain in Yokohama, Japan. The World Congress on Pain is the premier global congress bringing together international expertise devoted to the research and management of pain.
In addition, Dr. Alappattu, along with her co-author, Dr. Georgine Lamvu, of the Orlando VA Medical Center, also presented research at the International Pelvic Pain Society meeting held in Chicago.
