The DPT program graduated 53 students and recognized the following award winners during the Spring Commencement Awards Banquet at UF’s Touchdown Terrace:

• The Dr. Mark H. Trimble Memorial Scholarship: Matthew Prince
• Scholastic Achievement Award: Staci Pittman
• The Frederick Family Scholarship in Physical Therapy (Entry Level): Philip DiCenso
• Julia Conrad Trojanowski Scholarship: Jennifer Squires
• The Claudette Finley Scholarship Award: Michael Broderick
The department was pleased to welcome Mr. Michael Spigel, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Brooks Rehabilitation, as The Barbara C. White Lecturer Award Commencement Speaker for the Class of 2015. In addition to the banquet, highlights from commencement week included a career fair connecting students with potential employers; a poster session; and the ‘hooding’ of our DPT graduates in the Swamp.
