SPTA Dance Marathon Participants Raise $3,000+ for the Children’s Miracle Network at UF Shands

DanceUF Student Physical Therapy Association (SPTA) representatives Vivian Albert, Cortney Halstead, Kelly Crews, Meghan Dooley and Ashely Gibbens raised $3,255.74 in contributions for the Children’s Miracle Network at UF Shands by standing and dancing for 26.2 hours during the UF Dance Marathon. The group took second place for the Spirit Award and third place for fundraising in the small organizations category.  The SPTA was pleased to be part of the effort to raise $2,015,307.17 for the Children’s Miracle Network at UF Shands. Hundreds of Dance Marathon’s throughout North America raise funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Congratulations to our students on their exhaustive and successful efforts!
