Alappattu selected as PHHP Dean’s Scholar

Dr. Meryl Alappattu and Dr. David FullerDavid Fuller and Michael PerriPhysical Therapy Department Rehabilitation Science graduate Dr. Meryl Alappattu has been selected as the PHHP 2014 Dean’s Scholar by the College of Public Health and Health Professions. This prestigious PHHP Dean’s office award is given annually to recognize the achievements of an exemplary student. Alappattu’s award was announced at the PHHP College Convocation and Awards Ceremony. Alappattu was honored with a plaque and a monetary award of $500.  On behalf of Alappattu, Dr. David Fuller, Director of the Rehabilitation Science Doctoral Program, accepted the award from PHHP Dean Michael Perri.

Alappattu, DPT, PhD, is currently a UF Postdoctoral Fellow at the Pain Research and Intervention Center of Excellence.
