H. Leslie, BHS, PTTimothy H. Leslie was graduated from the University of Florida, College of Health Professions in 1983. Since graduating, he has worked in skilled nursing facility, acute care, home health, and long-term care settings. He has been a physical therapy consultant for hospice.
He has worked with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities since 1985 and has worked at University of Florida-Tacachale since 1986. While there, he has worked as a staff physical therapist, Assistant Director of Programming, and Director of Programming. He has been a clinical instructor and has been a teaching assistant for entry level physical therapy students in the Physical Therapy Assessment/Evaluation class at the University of Florida.
He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1980.
He particularly enjoys "playing" as part of his therapy sessions with his clients and the team comradery at Tacachale, teaching students the "art of caring" for clients, and the flexibility that working for the University of Florida provides.
During his free time, he enjoys reading fantasy books, jogging, and debating theological perspectives. [full CV]
