Eugene M. Fueyo graduated from the University of Florida in 1987 with a BS in Zoology and after two year of graduate education in Nutrition, he worked in and eventually started a successful food testing laboratory. In 1998 he sold his company stock and went back to the University of Florida to study Physical Therapy, receiving his BHS in 2000 and MPT in 2001.
He worked in out-patient orthopedics and also did some personal training in 2002 before beginning work for the University of Florida in 2003 as a staff Physical Therapist at Tacachale. He has become the coordinating PT for the monthly orthopedic clinics. He enjoys the interdisciplinary teams and particularly enjoys the cooperation and teamwork of his fellow PT staff. He looks forward to future teaching and learning opportunities associated with the university.
He is a Florida native who enjoys reading, jogging, rowing, and martial arts as well as yard work. He is married to a UF graduate Occupational Therapist and they have a young son and many pets living on five acres in Micanopy. (full CV)
