Dance Alive!
Created over 40 years ago, DANCE ALIVE! fulfills a mission to produce and
present performances and educational programs of artistic excellence.
Today DANCE ALIVE! is recognized throughout the South for its superb level
of performances, choreography and educational programming. Once again, DANCE
ALIVE! has been selected to represent Florida on the State Touring Program.
Included in the Florida Artist Residency Directory. DANCE ALIVE! continues
to develop dance curriculum for public schools and outreach performances
for under served urban and rural schools. Claudia
Senesac, PhD, PT, PCS has provided Physical Therapy consultative services
pro bono to the dancers of DANCE ALIVE! for the past 12 years.
Dr. Claudia Senesac and two second year MPT students were invited to assist the Hubbard Street Dance Company of Chicago with Physical Therapy services during the February 9th, 2006 performance at the University of Florida Performing Arts Phillips Center. The dance company presented them with an autographed poster in recognition and appreciation of their volunteer efforts.
