Dr. George recipient of two APTA awards

Dr. Steven GeorgeAssociate Professor and DPT Program Director, Steven George, PT, PhD, will be honored with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) John H. P. Maley Lecture Award. The Maley Lecture Award is given to a PT who has made distinguished contributions to the profession in any area of clinical practice.

George has also been named the recipient of the Jules M. Rothstein Golden Pen Award for Scientific Writing, an award which recognizes demonstrated superior writing skills and a continuing record of scholarly contributions and collaborations to the benefit of Physical Therapy (PTJ), the leading international journal for research in physical therapy and related fields, and its stakeholders.

Both awards will be presented by the APTA Board of Directors at the NEXT Conference and Exposition being held in Nashville, TN in June.
